Carers Rights Day is an annual event which this year takes place on Thursday 21st November.
This year’s theme is ‘recognising your rights’. The theme has been chosen to help highlight the need for carers to recognise and understand their rights. It’s just as important that carers know how to access their rights, and to challenge when they feel their rights are not being met.
To help ensure that you are well aware of your rights, we are hosting a Freephone Information Helpline between 8am-8pm on Thursday 21st November. Our friendly team will be on hand to answer all of your queries, signpost, tell you more about our service and of course help you better understand your rights as a carer.
As well as that our team will also be at McDonalds, Queensway, Leamington Spa on Friday 22nd of November between 1:30pm-3:30pm, so make sure you stop by for a chat and find out more about all things carers rights.
