Assessments

Every carer in Warwickshire is entitled to a FREE Carers Assessment to look at the impact that the care and support you provide is having on your own wellbeing. Have you had yours yet? 

Assessments are conversations that can: 

• Advise or signpost for support to make sure you are receiving the correct benefits and funding, 
• Support you with your health and wellbeing, 
• Identify training to help you with your care role (for example, manual handling or dementia training), 
• Advise how we can help you with your care role in an emergency - for example, you fall ill. 
• Anyone can complete the referral form, including external professionals and unpaid carers.
• If you are referring yourself, in the Referrer's Details section please write Not Applicable.

Carer Assessments can take place in your own home, over the phone or at a community venue in your locality.
