Take Part in Warwickshire County Council’s Free Online Carer Aware Course

SHARE:

Caring Together Warwickshire are inviting anyone interested in furthering their understanding of what it means to be a carer, to take part in Warwickshire County Council’s free CPD online Carer Aware Courses.

There are two training courses available, one aimed at adult carers and the other at young carers, and there’s no better time to develop your understanding of what life is like as a carer.

The courses will introduce you to both adult and young carers, their roles and the important contribution they make to their communities.

The courses will also outline the legislation in place to make sure carers of all ages get the recognition and support they deserve, and explore the needs carers typically have and the range of support available to meet these needs.

You’ll also have the chance to hear from young carers, in their own words and get a sense of what life is like for those who give their time to help provide care at such a young care.

Each course should take less than an hour and will provide you with a vast array of knowledge that you can then put to the test at the end of the course. The easy to use courses are available online 24/7 and can be completed at your leisure, with no pressure to complete in a single sitting.
