About the Schools Programme

SHARE:

Is your school doing great things for young carers?

The Young Carers in Schools Programme is an opportunity for your school to increase identification, improve outcomes, and ultimately gain an award for your school's commitment to supporting young carers. Your school may already be doing great things to support young carers, and this programme is the perfect opportunity not only to gain recognition for your fantastic work but also to improve upon it. The Young Carers in Schools programme is run in partnership with Carers Trust and The Children’s Society.

By participating you can demonstrate to Ofsted that your school is meeting the needs of young carers, specifically mentioned in the Common Inspection Framework, 2015.
